As passed by the Senate on May 14, 2025, it would have established an AI regulatory sandbox, a Connecticut Technology Advisory Board, an AI systems fellowship program, an AI task force, various state-agency generative AI requirements, and a prohibition on disseminating certain synthetic images. The House tabled it for its calendar on May 16, 2025 and took no further action before the 2025 regular session adjourned.
