As introduced, would have amended the Nebraska Political Accountability and Disclosure Act to bar a person, corporation, committee, or other entity from distributing, within ninety days before an election, synthetic media the distributor knows or should know is a deceptive and fraudulent deepfake of a candidate or party, unless the media carried a specified disclosure that it had been manipulated by artificial intelligence.
